The Pursuit 2017

Event Details

The Pursuit is a gathering of Christian leaders who want to be equipped to build highly effective ministries. The gathering consists of a 2.5-day conference and a full year of access to an online community packed with relevant content and forums.

This year The Pursuit’s theme is Leading in Community. The conference keynote speakers will be discussing how we, as a community of believers, can re-vision the mission of the church today. Keynote speakers for 2017 include Gordon T. Smith (President, Ambrose University), Gary Nelson (President, Tyndale University College and Seminary), and Lee Beach (Associate Professor, McMaster Divinity School). Daily devotionals will be led by Wendy Lowe, Lead Pastor of NEXT Christian Community.

The Pursuit offers breakout sessions that cover a variety of topics relevant to Christian ministry, such as governance, finance, fundraising, church management, communication, human resources, strategy, and technology. No matter the size of your ministry or the level of your experience, you will find encouragement and inspiration from The Pursuit’s learning sessions. Check out the full list of learning options here.

The Pursuit gathers Christian leaders from across Canada and beyond. We’re a group of people who are passionate about Christian ministry, though our roles, backgrounds, and denominational affiliations may differ. The Pursuit brings together church and charity leaders, administrators, fundraisers, human resource professionals, stewardship consultants, and many other types of ministry workers.
