All Roads Meet at the Centre
Arrive via car, cab, bus, Light Rail Transit or your own two feet. The Shaw Conference Centre is where Edmonton connects.
It’s impossible to miss the Shaw Conference Centre as you approach from the North Saskatchewan River Valley, but which entrance to the Centre is most convenient will depend on how you choose to arrive. The Centre sits between 97 Street and Jasper Avenue, and Grierson Hill NW, with visitor entrances accessible at both the top and bottom of the hill.
Arriving by Air
The Edmonton International Airport is located on the south side of our city and is conveniently connected to the Shaw Conference Centre via Highway 2, making arrival by cab or airport shuttle bus (operated by several hotels) easy and efficient.
Arriving by Car
With multiple roadways leading to the Shaw Conference Centre, a designated drop-off zone at the entrance, and plenty of parkades within walking distance (and underground pedway access), arriving by car or cab is a convenient option.
Arriving by Public Transit
Edmonton’s Light Rail Transit system connects our city and with underground pedway access to the Shaw Conference Centre, arriving via public transit (including bus) is made easy and affordable in any number.
Greyhound will be offering passenger drop-offs and pick-ups twice daily at 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. outside the Edmonton Welcome Centre, located west of the Shaw Conference Centre’s Jasper Avenue entrance.
Exhibitors & Deliveries
The Shaw Conference Centre’s dock area (located on Grierson Hill NW) is capable of receiving large shipments at all hours of operations with coordination provided by the SCC’s dock marshal, equipping our facility to handle tradeshows and exhibitions of grand scale.
